UCA Pediatrics

Children with problems in their musculoskeletal system require specialised care because their bones, joints and muscles are still developing. They are not small adults and, therefore, present different pathologies to which we provide different solutions.

UCA Pediatrics is a pioneer in the application of advanced surgical solutions for the treatment of highly complex pathologies in the pediatric population. Our solutions in paediatric orthopaedics and traumatology are specifically designed to adapt to the process of growth and transition to adulthood, using innovative, scientifically and internationally supported techniques.

Our medical team is made up of specialists with extensive training and experience in this field. They are experts in minimally invasive treatments and advanced surgical techniques, such as pediatric arthroscopy, a very demanding technique that requires great experience and skill on the part of the surgeon, as well as specific management of the paediatric patient adapted to the different stages of growth.

In addition, our unit is actively involved in research for the treatment of paediatric pathologies and participates in clinical trials for the medical treatment of achondroplasia, among others.
