Irene Gimeno-Lluch has a degree in Biotechnology from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Biomedicine and Biotechnology from the same university. Specialized in Molecular Approaches in Health Sciences, she focused her scientific career on tissue regeneration specializing in the study of the mechanisms of skin healing in animal models during her doctoral thesis until today. She obtained a scholarship from the University of Munich for a one-year stay at the Max Planck Institute. During her thesis she has had the opportunity to supervise several final thesis and master's theses in the laboratory.
Since 2020 she is part of the research team led by Dr. Mikel Sanchez, participating in the coordination of clinical and observational studies.
