Having obtained her Nursing Diploma from the University of the Basque Country in 1998, Cristina continued to train. As a result, she obtained the qualifications University Expert in Surgery, Anaesthetics and Resuscitation; and Post-Graduate qualification in Anaesthetics, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy. She has also done several courses on surgery. She has also taken part in several congress papers, published articles in scientific journals and given courses on treatment involving PRGF®-Endoret®.
During her career she has worked for institutions such as the Santiago Hospital Surgery Service and the La Esperanza-Quiron Clinic surgical ward, Vitoria-Gasteiz before going on to join Doctor Mikel Sanchez's Arthroscopic Surgery Unit in 2014 where she works as an instrument (scrub) nurse in the surgical area in the field of trauma and orthopedic surgery. She is also involved in the Biological Therapy Unit's treatments involving PRGF®-Endoret®.
