She obtained a Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in 1995 and a Diploma in Nursing in 1998 from the University of the Basque Country.
Since then she has taken a number of Training Courses in surgery patient care, minor surgery, trauma and orthopedic surgery, PRGF tissue regeneration, vascular surgery, vascular ulcers and vaccines.
Her most recent qualification has been that of University Expert in Surgery, Anaesthetics and Resuscitation.
Furthermore, she has also participated in different papers as Author and Speaker at the National Congress of the Spanish Association of Anaesthetics, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy.
Her Professional Training in Nursing commenced in the Surgical Ward of the Santiago Hospital, Vitoria-Gasteiz and she also spent time at the Surgical Area of Txagorritxu Hospital, Vitoria-Gasteiz and at different Primary Healthcare Centres.
Since 2000 her work was based at the La Esperanza Clinic, Vitoria-Gasteiz in the surgery service, where she worked for over 13 years as a circulating instrument (scrub) and anaesthetist nurse.
Since 2014 she has been a member of Dr. Mikel Sanchez's Arthroscopic Surgery Unit working as an instrument nurse in the surgery area and assisting with treatment involving PRGF®-Endoret® for the Biological Therapy Unit.
