Diego Delgado has a degree in Pharmacy and is a University Specialist in Orthopedics. After starting and developing his research career at the University of the Basque Country, he obtained the title of International Doctor after completing his Doctoral Thesis focused on advanced biological therapies. This thesis has resulted in numerous communications to conferences, several publications in scientific journals and two patents. His training includes knowledge in cell biology, biostatistics and animal experimentation.
In recent years Diego has worked in various centers such as the Department of Pharmacokinetics, Nanotechnology and Gene Therapy (UPV/EHU), the Hospital Santiago de Vitoria-Gasteiz or the Institute of Human Genetics (Regensburg, Germany). In addition, he collaborates with institutions such as the Center for Networked Biomedical Research in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine or the Institute of Bioengineering of the Miguel Hernández University of Elche.
Since 2012, he has been working in the R&D section of the Arthroscopic Surgery Unit of Dr. Mikel Sánchez (UCA RESEARCH), focusing his research on PRGF.
