Trauma Injury and Orthopedic Surgery Unit

The Arthroscopic Surgery Unit has a Trauma Injury and Orthopedic Surgery Unit which treats almost all types of trauma and orthopedic injuries with the exception of spinal injuries. Preference is given to treating adult pathologies. Nevertheless, the team works closely with prestigious centres in  children's orthopedics.

This unit is made up of a team of specialised surgeons who deal with the main musculoskeletal disorders and is a leader in sports medicine, in biological therapy and in arthroscopic surgery and upper- and lower-limb prosthetics. It also has a team of nurses and physiotherapists devoted to reducing recovery times and who monitor and supervise patients at all times.
