Leonor López de Dicastillo

Dr. López de Dicastillo Roldán studied Medicine at the University of Cantabria, where she graduated in 2007. She specialized in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery at the San Pedro Hospital in Logroño and during her residency she completed her training in the Children's Orthopedic Units at the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza (2011), the Arthroscopic Surgery Unit of Dr. Mikel Sánchez in Vitoria (2012) and the Spine Unit of the University Hospital of Vitoria (2012). Mikel Sánchez in Vitoria (2012) and Spine Unit of the University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla in Santander (2012) where he acquired knowledge of spine surgery assisted by neuronavigation and neuromonitoring, endoscopic surgery, microscopic surgery and oncological spine surgery. After completing the specialization, she joined the Spine Unit of the Neurosurgery Service of the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital from 2013 to 2017 with a 3-month stay in Toulouse with Dr. Charosqui, specialist in complex scoliosis surgery. Between 2017-2018 she works as an assistant at the Hospital San Pedro de Logroño.

Since October 2018 she works as part of the medical team of the Arthroscopic Surgery Unit (UCA) and Advanced Biological Therapy Unit (UTBA) of Dr. Mikel Sanchez.

Throughout her professional career she has attended several congresses and scientific meetings, actively participating with communications, lectures and teaching courses. She is also author of articles in journals, publication of clinical cases and author of chapters in books.
