Gorka Knörr

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1993 from the University of the Basque Country and specialized in Traumatology and Orthopedic Surgery in 2001. He then continued his training focused on children's orthopedics in Toulouse, where he directed different services.

In recent years he has headed the children's traumatology areas of the Barcelona hospitals of Sant Joan de Déu and Vall d'Hebron. With his incorporation to the UCA, Gorka Knörr brings to the unit the knowledge acquired in his long experience so that pediatric patients can benefit from it.

Dr. Knörr combines his healthcare and humanitarian work, dedicating part of his time to carry out cooperation missions in Burkina Faso, Vietnam, Benin and Bolivia.
