Sergio González

Graduated in Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2014. He specialized in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the University Hospital of La Paz in Madrid between 2015-2020, then joining the medical team of the Arthroscopic Surgery Unit (UCA) and Advanced Biological Therapy Unit (UTBA) of Dr. Mikel Sanchez.

During his training as a specialist, he has worked as a Clinical Teaching Collaborator at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

His interest in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine led him to carry out during his training period a residency with the team of Dr. Sanchez in 2018 and subsequently combine his training with specialists of national and international relevance in complex Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.

Participating member in the group of the National Arthroscopy Training Plan (AEA) and the National Plan for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (SECHC).

He is an active member of the Spanish Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Spanish Association of Arthroscopy, Spanish Society of Sports Traumatology and AO Trauma.

Throughout his professional career he has participated as a speaker at various congresses and scientific meetings.

Outside the professional field it is very plausible that he can be found practicing road cycling, one of his great hobbies.
